Editorial Policy
Our goal is simple: give readers information they can trust and check for themselves. Here's how we do it.
Where our data comes from
| Data | Source | How we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Nutrition (calories, fat, sodium, carbs, sugar, protein) | Chick-fil-A's official Nutrition & Allergens information | Used as published; we note the date we checked |
| Prices | Store-level online-ordering menus sampled in Dallas, Los Angeles and New York, published by an independent price tracker | Shown as low–high ranges, with the date verified |
| Gap prices | National-average trackers or published reviews | Marked with "≈" so you know it's an estimate |
| Menu changes and new items | Chick-fil-A announcements and reputable news coverage | Linked in each article's sources |
| Serving sizes for catering | Chick-fil-A customer support pages | Quoted directly |
Our rules
- We don't invent numbers. If a figure isn't published, we say so ("—" in tables) rather than guessing.
- We show ranges, not fake averages, because Chick-fil-A prices are set by each restaurant.
- We cite sources at the end of every article.
- We label our own calculations (for example, price per nugget or cost per 10 g of protein) and explain how we did them.
- We separate opinion from fact. Rankings and recommendations are our editorial judgment, based on the data shown.
- We stay independent. We're not affiliated with Chick-fil-A, and advertisers don't influence what we write.
- We don't publish fake reviews or testimonials. When we describe taste, we either cite a named published review or describe the item using its official description.
Health content
Articles about healthy eating, allergens, gluten-free or keto ordering are general information, not medical advice. We use official ingredient and nutrition data, cite government guidance (such as the U.S. FDA's Daily Values) where relevant, and encourage readers with medical needs to consult a professional.
Updates and corrections
- Every page shows its last updated date.
- We re-check prices and nutrition regularly and whenever Chick-fil-A launches or retires items.
- When readers report an error, we verify it against official or reputable sources and correct the page.
